Sewer Maintenance
7101 Edgewater Drive, Building #4
(510) 615-5566
- The Sewer Section is responsible for the maintenance and repair of City sewer lines. If you experience a problem with your sewer, you should contact the department between the hours of 8:00am and 4:30pm, at (510) 615-5566, Monday through Friday.
- The Sewer Section will come out to inspect the City's main sewer line. After regular working hours, this number will roll over to emergency standby personnel for assistance.
- If the main line is functioning properly, the problem may be in the side sewer which runs from the property structure to the main sewer.
The City will assist you in determining the problem. However, the property owner is responsible for maintenance and repair of the side sewer.
